Repeat steps 10 – 12 on each of the other quadrants to create the blossom.įold the top of the origami heart down, behind the model to reveal a heart shape. Repeat on the other kite shape in that quadrant. Open up one of the small kite shapes, and Squash Fold to create a triangle shape. Working on each of the smaller squares in turn, fold the sides in to meet the middle, creating a small kite shape. Repeat Step 7 & 8 on each of the other corners. In origami, this is called a Squash Fold. Open up the part you’ve just folded down and flatten it to create a smaller square. Next, concertina fold the paper to create a square diamond shape, as shown.įold the top left corner down, so that the top point meets the side point.
